The Minmus 3000 is Minmus’s first fixed wing agricultural fertilization drone. Coming in at a price of merely $600 USD, Minmus 3000 offers exceptional fertilizer and seed payload capability while providing outstanding cruise efficiency, all complemented by its state-of-the-art avionics and autonomous flight systems.
When empty of cargo, Minmus 3000 will have a take-off weight of 2 kilograms. It can support up to 3 kilograms of payload in its seed and fertilizer bay alongside with a Minmus seed or fertilizer dispenser.
Why Minmus 3000?
1. Minmus 3000 offers excellent prices for operators and farmers who need a reliable drone. Many commercial drones are well over $10000 dollars, making them out of reach of most farmers. With its mere $600 dollar price, Minmus is a game changer in the farming industry. We’re able to achieve this price tag by building our flight computers from scratch as well as designing Minmus 3000 as a fixed wing aircraft, meaning it will require less motors and escs, which take up a big portion of the cost of commercial solutions.
2. Minmus 3000 also offers unprecedented range. Unlike conventional multi-rotor agricultural drones, Minmus is capable of cruising much farther thanks to its fixed wing design. This means that operators who need to work on farmland that is either far away or in a hazardous terrain can now take off from one location and operate on tens of acres without having to move an inch.
3. Minmus 3000 uses Minmus’s own software. This software is tuned just for Minmus 3000 and made to be as simple and straightforward as possible, taking away the learning curve needed for most other fixed wing agricultural drones which rely on complicated opensource flight software to operate.
4. Minmus 3000 is made to be fully durable and modular. The airframe is made from foamboard, allowing operators to make repairs as big as replacing the entire wing with readily available supplies such as insulation foam found in constructions stores. Minmus 3000 also comes with the purchase option of flight avionics and fertilizer/seed dispenser unit only for those who are confident in their DIY skills and wish to build the plane on their own by following our complimentary blueprints.
How to use Minmus 3000?
Operator logs onto the Minmus Operating App on their phone or computer.
Turn on Minmus 3000 and connect it to the device.
Operator selects a region where Minmus will be operating, and press start.
Minmus will begin spreading fertilizer in the designated area completely autonomous.
When Minmus runs out of fertilizer, it will return to its base and wait for the operator to instruct it to land.
With the help of Minmus’s powerful flight computer, Minmus 3000 knows just how fast and steep its landing needs to be and only needs directional input from the operator.
Refill Minmus with more fertilizer and it is ready to work again.
